CiTiSweEP is a 501.C3 non-profit organization focused on raising funds for public after-school programs. We are deeply committed to fundraising, volunteering, and being a good neighbor to our community. CiTiSweEP is dedicated to bringing quality sustainability science and climate education to high schools in underserved neighborhoods. Through our Hydroponic Classrooms, we offer hands-on learning experiences that promote scientific inquiry and environmental stewardship. Our curriculum transforms students into “Farmer Scientists,” introducing them to the field of agriscience. This innovative approach allows students to grow food from seed to harvest, helping them understand the relationship between humans, technology, the environment, and climate change. Along the way, they also grow hundreds of pounds of fresh produce, which they share with their families, local food banks, shelters, and school communities.
CiTiSweEP helps bridge the gap in access to quality education and fresh food in underserved communities. By providing innovative Hydroponic Classrooms and sustainability-focused programs, we empower students to develop essential skills in science, technology, and environmental stewardship. Through fundraising, volunteering, and community partnerships, we support public after-school programs, inspire future leaders in agriscience, and address food insecurity by growing and distributing fresh, nutritious produce to those in need.
